STU Solidarity Rally – July 17th

The following message was just sent to all members:

Dear AUNBT members,

As you know, AUNBT is a member of the United Campus Labour Council (UCLC) made up of unions across UNB and STU. Jen Burry, St. Thomas Support and Administrative Union (STAUSAU) President, has sent us the following e-mail.   Please have a look, and if at all possible, plan to attend this coming Thursday (rain or shine!).

In solidarity,
Miriam Jones

Good morning fellow Campus Labour Council members,

As you may be aware, July 9th was the 4th Anniversary of our certification from the NB Labour Board.  To recognize this date, and show our administration that this will be the last anniversary without a Collective Agreement, we are inviting all of our supporters and fellow Sisters and Brothers to the Upper Courtyard on the St. Thomas campus (in front of Holy Cross and Brian Mulroney Hall). We will have a cake and would love a few people to speak in support of our fight for our first Collective Agreement. We will have a microphone and speaker set up to allow for this. Please let me know if you would like to have some time to speak as we will be doing up an agenda for speakers. The details are below:

When: July 17th, 12:30-1:15pm
Where: Upper courtyard, STU campus

Thank you in advance for your continued Solidarity and support!

In Solidarity,
Jen Burry
President
St. Thomas Support and Administrative Union (STUSAU)
